The Flash returns with a new episode tonight but today there was a bit of casting news as Luc Roderique joins the cast as Jason Rusch according to Ksitetv.com. Roderique is a native of Ottawa, Ontario.  He’s studied acting from an early age, attending schools such as; Ottawa’s Canterbury High School for the Arts as well as Studio 58 in Vancouver.  He’s already built up a resume that includes films such as 2011’s Rise of the Planet of the Apes and 2014’s Godzilla.  He also has several TV appearances but will be familiar to CW viewers for his turns on Supernatural and The 100.  Roderique will also be seen in…

Welcome to November Sweeps, over the next few weeks the networks will fight harder than ever viewers.  With the Flash pulling in some of the best ratings in the history of the network, the CW has cranked up the hype with this new poster: The image of Barry Allen racing past Central City shows signs of Speed Force lightning coming from him. Gotham Season One is in full swing and while it’s focused primarily on Jim Gordon and Oswald Cobblepot we can soon expect the arrival of Scarecrow. Series Executive Producer, Danny Cannon spoke at Stan Lee’s Comikaze over the weekend.  While there he announced the introduction of Jonathan Crane.  Cannon stated that on the series Crane will be closer in age to Bruce and Selina.  Another change to Scarecrow will be that Jonathan is not the first to take the moniker.  His father will torment Gotham as Scarecrow first and likely tangles with Detective Jim Gordon. As previously reported be Watchtower’s Paul Romano here, Greg Berlanti and Ali Adler are developing a Supergirl series for CBS.  Today, tvline.com reported that casting is underway for the series leads. The Hollywood Reporter is reporting today that Star-Crossed and Vampire Diaries alumnus, Malese Jow has been cast as Linda Park. A native of Tulsa Oklahoma, twenty-three year old Malese Jow is a multi-talented performer.  She cut her teeth as an actress on the Nickelodeon series, Unfabulous as well as guest starring on Disney shows like Hannah Montana and Wizards of Waverly Place.  Most viewers will know her from her as “Anna” in Season One of CW’s The Vampire Diaries or as “Alice” in The Social Network (starring future Lex Luthor, Jesse Eisenberg.) In a story at the Hollywood Reporter Wednesday, some news about Suicide Squad came to light.  The story was about Margot Robbie working out a deal to play in The Taliban Shuffle alongside Tina Fey.  The story mentions that Robbie is still negotiating a role in Suicide Squad at the moment and that role could affect her schedule for 2015. Today it was reported at The Hollywood Reporter that The CW has ordered an addition ten episodes for season one of The Flash, bringing the episodes total to 23.
