Updated FLASH Costume for Season Two Unveiled at San Diego Comic-Con?
San Diego Comic-Con 2015 officially opened last night with Previews Night, and a bunch of merchandise, costumes and more were on display. The CW showcased costumes from both The Flash and Arrow, but one suit for the latter is particularly interesting. The Flash costume was on display, with one noticeable change: the emblem is now white, instead of red. This may indicate that this suit, now a little more faithful to the comic book version, will be Barry Allen’s new look for season two. However, it’s also possible that this is just the future version that was shown in the season one finale (pictured above) – although, that one is…

Looks Like Chris Miller and Phil Lord Won’t Direct THE FLASH Movie After All

Miller and Lord have been very busy, with projects such as The Last Man on Earth television series, 23 Jump Street and an animated Spider-Man movie on their slate. They are also producing several LEGO sequels and spin-offs for WB. Now, the two have found their next directorial project, but it won’t be The Flash.…

After the release of Man of Steel in 2013, a sequel was immediately put into development. Those hoping to see more of Superman’s solo work will be pleased to know that an actual Man of Steel 2 is in the works, and it is expected to release sometime between 2016 and 2020. Zack Snyder Defends MAN OF STEEL’s Final Act and Its Impact on BATMAN V SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE
Man of Steel is arguably the most polarizing comic book movie of the past decade or so. The final act, in which much of Metropolis was destroyed and many civilians died, was particularly controversial. Many fans have put the blame on Superman – a ludicrous claim, since General Zod inflicted the majority of the actual destruction. Even when saving the human race by destroying the World Engine and killing Zod, Superman is still not seen as a hero in the eyes of many. Fortunately, that concept – and others spawned by the Invasion of Metropolis – will play a heavy role in the next film, Batman v Superman: Dawn of…

BATMAN V SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE Star Ben Affleck Wants to Direct a Superhero Film
We have even more from Entertainment Weekly‘s cover story for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. During the magazine’s interview with Ben Affleck, the actor-director reaffirms his hesitation in accepting the role of Batman. “My first reaction was, ‘Are you sure?’ At the time I was 40, 41, and had just finished Argo, and I felt like ‘This seems like a strange way to get to Batman.’ But Zack [Snyder] convinced me.” Affleck was sold on Snyder’s vision, which depicted an older, Dark Knight Returns-esque Bruce Wayne. His age will be “played up” in Dawn of Justice. “He really keeps up the image of the playboy, actively,” says Affleck, “So you have…

Wonder Woman Has a “Super-Important” Role in BATMAN V SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE
As a part of its Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice coverage, Entertainment Weekly conducted an interview with Gal Gadot, who plays Wonder Woman in this movie and beyond. The actress recalls her audition for the role, where she didn’t even know which character she was up for. “I knew [the role] was big and it was for one of the franchises.” During the audition process, Gadot read a scene from Pulp Fiction. Afterwards, director Zack Snyder dropped the bomb. “He said, ‘Well, I don’t know how big she is in Israel…’ and my jaw just dropped. There are so many expectations for this character, it’s impossible not to be…
