FX Developing Television Series Based on Y: THE LAST MAN
For years, New Line Cinema has tried to bring the acclaimed Vertigo comic Y: The Last Man to the big screen. However, last year, the film rights for the graphic novel reverted to creators Brian K. Vaughan and Pia Guerra. Obviously, this killed whatever movie plans New Line had. However, it looks like the story will be brought to life, but on the small screen instead. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Vaughan is teaming up with FX to create a Y: The Last Man television series. Color Force’s Nina Jacobson and Brad Simpson are also involved in the show, which is just “purely” in development right now. A writer is currently being…

ARROW ‘s Damien Darhk to Appear on THE FLASH & LEGENDS OF TOMORROW
The main antagonist of Arrow’s third season, Damien Darhk, will also appear on DC’s Legends of Tomorrow and The Flash. During an interview with comicbook.com, actor Neal McDonough (Damien Darhk) mentioned his appearances on The CW’s other shows. “You go back to the League – I did an episode of Legends last week – and I look exactly the same in 1975, but you see he’s not as confident and doesn’t have such an agenda forty years ago as he does now,” McDonough said. “So it’s fun to play the different times, you know? Going back in time with Legends, and The Flash, I’m just this crazy, fun, enjoy everything while I kill everybody type…

Yes, Mark Hamill’s Trickster Will Return for THE FLASH Season Two
In addition to playing Luke Skywalker and voicing The Joker, Mark Hamill’s other recurring role is that of Flash villain Trickster. He played the character in the 1990 The Flash series, voiced him in an episode of Justice League Unlimited, and even played an older version of James Jesse in The CW’s The Flash last season. For the latter, Hamill’s Trickster was easily one of the most memorable villains of the season, rivaling Reverse-Flash and Captain Cold. So, it shouldn’t be surprising to hear that he will return to The Flash for the show’s second season. Hamill confirmed the news on Twitter, and it was later reaffirmed by ComicBook.com. Hamill admitted…

Will BATMAN: THE KILLING JOKE Animated Movie Be Rated R?
DC has been producing original animated movies since 2007, and so far, all of them have been PG-13. Even during extremely violent moments in films such as Justice League: The Flashpoint Paradox, Batman: The Dark Knight Returns and Assault on Arkham, none of these movies have been slapped with an R-rating. That might change with one of DC’s 2016 offerings, the highly anticipated adaptation of Batman: The Killing Joke. Last night, the first-look panel for Batman: Bad Blood took place at New York Comic-Con, and among those in attendance was producer James Tucker (via SuperHeroHype). Tucker also commented on The Killing Joke movie, revealing that DC Entertainment gave the crew permission…

THE FLASH Movie Suit Rumored to Be Tech-Based
With The Flash TV series being a huge hit on The CW, and a separate version of Flash appearing in 2017’s Justice League, Warner Bros. wants casual fans to know that there is a huge difference. According to Den of Geek, Warner Bros. wants a distinctive difference between the Flash movie and the Flash TV series, with the movie costume having a more “tech-based” look. Warner Bros. doesn’t want “any comparison to the well designed and received TV version.” with his to look more “like armor”. With the more armored costume designs for Wonder Woman and Aquaman, it seems likely that The Flash will be no different. The first thing that comes to mind is the…
