Some unexpected news has been announced for Warner Bros.’ Wonder Woman movie. Director Michelle MacLaren, who was set to make her feature film debut here, has dropped out of the DC Comics adaptation, via The Hollywood Reporter. The studio sent out a statement regarding MacLaren’s departure, citing “creative differences” (a phrase frequently used when a director exits a movie). Awesome “Superhero Fight Club” Promo Unites Characters From ARROW and THE FLASH
With new episodes for The Flash and Arrow returning this week – marking the final break of the season for the two shows – The CW has released a unique new promo teasing these final episodes. The promo is a parody of the cult classic film Fight Club and sees Oliver Queen introducing Barry Allen to “Superhero Fight Club.” There, heroes and villains from Flash and Arrow come to blows. Adam Beach Cast As “Slipknot” In SUICIDE SQUAD?
When Suicide Squad director David Ayer tweeted out that cast photo last week, we discovered a few new cast additions aside from the ones we already knew about. One actor that we found out had joined the cast is Adam Beach (pictured above, third from right), known for Walker, Texas Ranger and Cowboys and Aliens, who secretly joined in an unrevealed role. A few months ago, it was reported that Warner Bros. was looking to hire James Wan to direct a DC Comics movie. Many assumed that the movie in question was Shazam; Wan has connections to New Line Cinema, and he recently worked with Dwayne Johnson on the box office smash Furious 7. The search for the title character continues but the cast surrounding him continues to grow with True Blood‘s Lucy Griffiths. SUICIDE SQUAD Cast Photo Reveals New Additions; Joe Manganiello is Not Playing Deathstroke
Suicide Squad is expected to begin filming any day now in Toronto, and writer-director David Ayer has now shared our first look at the (almost) complete cast. Via Twitter, he revealed most of the film’s ensemble cast at a script read-through. From Will Smith (Deadshot) and Viola Davis (Amanda Waller) to Cara Delevingne (Enchantress) and a very happy looking Jai Courtney (Captain Boomerang), nearly everyone is present. The exception?
