SPIDER-MAN PS4 Release Date and Collector’s Edition Announced
We have some good news for gamers who have been looking forward to the new Spider-Man title. Sony and Insomniac Games have announced that the game will be released on Friday, September 7th, exclusively for PlayStation 4. The game was originally announced in 2016, so fans have been waiting a little while. But with the amount of time being dedicated to getting this right, it should be worth the wait. LEGENDS OF TOMORROW Upgrades Jes Macallan’s Ava Sharpe to Series Regular for Season 4
The CW recently confirmed that DC’s Legends of Tomorrow will return for a fourth season next year. We already knew that Matt Ryan’s John Constantine has been upgraded to series regular next season. And now, another character is getting a promotion. According to Entertainment Weekly, Jes Macallan’s Ava Sharpe will be a regular on Legends of Tomorrow next season. An agent-turned director of the Time Bureau, Ava was originally in opposition to the Legends, but later became a love interest for Sara Lance. Joaquin Phoenix Addresses Possibility of Playing The Joker
Over the years, Joaquin Phoenix has been attached to many different comic book movie roles. The Academy Award nominated actor has been rumored to play everyone from Doctor Strange to Lex Luthor to Bruce Banner. Currently, Phoenix is said to be in negotiations to star in Warner Bros.’ Joker origin film, directed by Todd Phillips and possibly produced by Martin Scorsese. Despite the success of Marvel Studios’ Doctor Strange, we’ve had very little news on a potential sequel. Director Scott Derrickson is reportedly attached to return, while the Sorcerer Supreme is playing a key role in Avengers: Infinity War this year. The CW Renews All Five DC Shows and RIVERDALE for Next Season
The CW has officially announced that ten of its shows have been picked up for new seasons. These include six comic book adaptations. Arrow, the show that launched the network’s Arrowverse has been renewed for a seventh season. Midseason hit Black Lightning, based on the DC comic, will be back for a second season. Fellow DC adaptations Supergirl and Legends of Tomorrow will return for fourth seasons. This episode sees Oliver Queen and the team face off against the Thanatos Guild, which consists of former League of Assassins members who follow the late Malcolm Merlyn. We have less than two months until the end of Arrow‘s sixth season. While we wait on an official renewal for next season, we have news about an exciting guest star for the finale.
