Matt Smith Joins the Spider-Man Spin-Off MORBIUS
Sony continues is push for more Spider-Man spin-off films. After the success of Venom, can you blame them? With the sequel to Venom, the next film in development with is Morbius starring Jared Leto (Suicide Squad). Now, the film has found its second lead. According to Variety, Matt Smith (The Crown) is set to co-star alongside Leto’s titular character. As of now we do not have any information on who Smith is playing. Marvel Studios has several new shows in development at the Disney+ streaming service. Despite negative reviews from critics and mixed reception from fans, Sony’s Venom was a big hit at the box office, grossing over $855 million worldwide on a $100 million budget.
