Review: ATTACK ON TITAN Season 3 Episodes 2-6
Just like with the Eden Zero review HERE, the missing episodes of Attack on Titans will be reviewed all at once. When I last left them off, Eren and the gang had gotten ambushed by The Military Police. To make matters worse, it looks like the leader of the squad that ambushes them is someone that has a dark history with Levi. Where the anime is right now, shows perfectly why many calls this show Japan’s The Walking Dead. Instead of focusing on Titan killing action, there is now a lot more political conflicts inside the wall. But honestly? I think Attack on Titans execute the “trust no one” scenario…

New Look at CAPTAIN MARVEL Revealed on Entertainment Weekly
Captain Marvel (aka Carol Danvers) movie is something that has been on peoples radar for a while. Many have asked where some official photos have been after the set leak a while back, but also where the trailer is considering the movie releases in March next year. Well, now we got our first official look at the movie thanks to Entertainment Weekly. The suit looks fantastic if you ask me. . We also got some plot description in the article by EW: “This is not a superhero who’s perfect or otherworldly or has some godlike connection,” says Boden, who’s MCU’s first female director. “But what makes her special is just…

Review: EDENS ZERO Chapters 4-9
Due to life, collecting shiny star balls and a lot of turn-based situations, I haven’t been able to keep up with the reviews lately. Meaning this review will be an overall recap of chapters 4 through 9. In the words of Quentin Tarantino, spoken by Leonardo DiCaprio: “You had my curiosity, but now you have my attention.” The classical Hiro Mashima tropes remain in this manga, don’t get me wrong. But now, it starts to feel like its own story and a possibly a good one at that. I would argue that this could end up as his best work yet (Yes I will eat my words later if I have to).…

Opinion: Top 5 Shonen Jump Manga
5. Jojo’s Bizzare Adventure What’s not to love when it comes to the strange nature of Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure? It’s an insane thrill ride that ain’t afraid to kill off characters if they want. The only reason that I put this so on the list is that of its weird art style that is a massive hit or miss for me. 4. Blue Exorcist As someone that is a big fan of Supernatural, it’s probably not that surprising that I enjoy this franchise as much as I do. Even if I’m not a person of faith, religions and its history have always fascinated me. There is a reason that I watch the Story of…

Review: NARUTO THE MOVIE: BLOOD PRISON
Naruto needs to reclaim his honor after he gets convicted for a crime he did not commit. The reason I give you this review is that I need tomorrow to work on the last parts of the other two planned posts. But I refuse to have you go empty handed today, so here is a review just for you. As someone who ain’t that big on the Naruto movies since they are fillers, Blood Prison made me question why I hadn’t seen them in the first place. It’s not a masterpiece, don’t get me wrong. But I did find myself having a good time watching it from beginning to end.…

Opinion: Top 5 Shonen Jump Villains
5. Light Yagami (Death Note) While Light Yagami is the main lead of Death Note, he is also a villain. He is charismatic, together with an intelligence that you can’t help but to see if he get’s away with his deeds. He ends up this low because of a certain event. If you have read the manga/watch the anime you know what I’m talking about 4. Zeref Dragneel (Fairy Tail) Zeref is a perfect example of a tragic villain with massive potential. He would have been much higher on the list (maybe even first place) if it wasn’t for some misses down the line. 3. Cell (Dragon Ball Z) When…

Review: ONE PIECE FILM: GOLD
Luffy and his friends are on their way to Gran Tesoro. The largest entertainment city in the world. But what was meant to be a lot of fun, soon escalates to a lot of troubles. Golden troubles. One Piece is one of these IPs that is a trip and a half (but In a positive way). The movie is a worthy installation in this juggernaut of a franchise. It’s a fever dream of colors action and pure insanity just like a good One Piece script should be. Like the yesterday’s review, it would benefit you to watch the anime if you want to watch it, but I find this being…

Review: FULLMETAL ALCHEMIST THE MOVIE: CONQUEROR OF SHAMBALLA
Edward Electric, an alchemist from a different world, races to prevent an evil society to bring chaos and war to his homeland. For some of you, adding FMA might feel like a franchise that might not be the most obvious choice for a week like Shonen Jump. The reason I chose the franchise is this. Fullmetal Alchemist is a franchise that I think deserves more credit. Yes, it is quite popular, but not in the same league as Dragon Ball, Naruto or One Piece. If I had the time, I would have reviewed one of the animes (and yes reviews of both will come in due time). So instead, you…

Review: TEEN TITANS: TROUBLE IN TOKYO
Before I start with this review, I never really saw this show all the seasons out. I saw some episodes here and there, but never watched every episode. But with that said. Throughout my watch of Teen Titans: Trouble in Tokyo, it felt like I watched a reverse Mask of Phantasm. With Mask of the Phantasm, I got the feeling that people went all out, doing a worthy entry of the animated series. Teen Titans: Trouble in Tokyo came off as a last minute attempt to cash in on the fans that desperately wanted some more content based on the show they loved. The biggest reason for this is the animation.…

BATMAN: MASK OF THE PHANTASM Review
Batman gets framed for murder while a new foe has appeared. Are these two somehow connected? When people discuss which Batman movie is the best, Mask of the Phantasm is often one of the contenders during those conversations. After rewatching it again years after my first watch, I can safely say that I understand why, even though I might not find it to be the crown jewel for the Caped Crusader, it is a spot on his personal Mount Rushmore for sure though. What I like the most about this movie, is that while it is truly a crime thriller first and foremost, it dwells more into the mind of…
