FLASH SPOILER Review: Episode 2×15 – “King Shark”
The Flash (2×14 ) – “King Shark” Written by: Benjamin Raab & Deric A. Hughes Directed by: Hanelle Culpepper Let me take a moment from digging out from over a foot of snow to review this week’s Flash. As expected after last week’s cliff hanger, we pick up with Caitlin screaming no into the empty air that once held Jay Garrick. She breaks down pretty quickly and Cisco ushers her away. Barry’s not handling things much better, what with the demanding that Wells reopen the breach. Forgetting that whole part about you guys closing them permanently, Barry? Barry, Cisco and Wells meet up to check on a now sleeping…

FLASH SPOILER Review: Episode 2×14 – “Escape From Earth-Two”
The Flash (2×14 ) – “Escape From Earth-2” Written by: David Kob Directed by: JJ Makaro After a stumble for part one we’re back for more of Earth-2, and it seems Zoom is a little pissed off that Wells returned to Earth-2 and didn’t Check-in on Facebook when he came back. Judging by the big super-villain display of burning messages into buildings. Wells has locked down and evacuated STAR Labs when Cisco arrives and gives him a recap of last week and Wells offers up the only plan you can make at a time like this: Run. Two problems, Cisco won’t run and Earth-2 Barry Allen is away and making…

FLASH SPOILER Review: Episode 2×13 – “Welcome to Earth-Two”
The Flash (2×12 ) – “Welcome to Earth-2” Written by: Katherine Walczak Directed by: Millicent Shelton Okay! So coming back from last week’s episode Barry, Cisco and Dr. Wel- Huh… Déjà vu. Anyway, coming back from last week’s episode Barry, Cisco and Dr. Wells are getting for the trip to Earth-2 and wrapping up some loose ends. For Wells that means big science guns while for Barry and Cisco it means closing the other fifty breaches leaving on the one under STAR Labs. Barry then heads back to the West Home for a lasagna dinner with coffee and tag team guilt trips for dessert. I’m being a little unfair…

SPOILER Review: SUPERGIRL (01×13)- “For the Girl Who Has Everything”
Supergirl (01×13)- “For the Girl Who Has Everything” Written by: Ted Sullivan & Derek Simon Directed by: Dermott Downs Okay! So coming back from last week’s episode Barry, Cisco and Dr. Wel- Wait a second! Something’s wrong here… The opening voiceover is a little more feminine and Jesse L. Martin looks strangely like Calista Flockhart. Oh that’s right! Michael had some scheduling conflicts and I’ll be reviewing this week’s episode of Supergirl for you. Boy, what an episode it is too! This week, Benoist, Kreisberg, Adler and Company tackle “For the Man Who Has Everything” by Alan Moore with art by Dave Gibbons. One of the five greatest Superman stories…

FLASH SPOILER Review: Episode 2×12 – “Fast Lane”
The Flash (2×12 ) – “Fast Lane” Written by: Kai Yu Wu & Joe Peracchio Directed by: Rachel Talalay This week’s Flash returns to the night of the Accelerator explosion. (That night is the gift that keeps on giving horrifying gifts.) So while Barry is doing his best Ben Franklin impersonation, our new friend Joe Monteleone is having an even worse night. See Joe stole from some mobsters and was found out so they’re dangling him over a vat of boiling roofing tar to get him to come clean. Joe’s a reasonable man so he tells them, but his friends (Clay and Daniel) are not and they drop him in…

BATMAN: BAD BLOOD Review
Review: Batman Bad Blood Written by: J. M. DeMatteis Directed by: Jay Oliva This is a review of the movie only. Before we get into the Spoilers below, let me give you a quick spoiler-free review of the movie: Welcome back to the world of the DC Animated Universe, Batman: Bad Blood is the latest in a very well received line of direct-to-home market releases from Warner Animated. This time we return to Gotham City for the latest adventures of the Dark Knight… or do we? The movie was essentially a condensed and modified version of Grant Morrison’s Batman run from RIP through the end of Batman Incorporated. (A comic…

FLASH SPOILER Review: Episode 2×11 – “The Reverse-Flash Returns”
The Flash (2×11 ) – “The Reverse-Flash Returns” Written by: Todd & Aaron Helbing Directed by: Michael A Allowitz So, we’re back and Barry Allen is on the run. Not from the law, or any villain, no Barry’s on the run from the fact that he’s a big mean jerk who’s trying to chase away the only source of happiness in my meaningless- *ahem* Barry’s trying to avoid Patty and what better way to do that than by some super-heroing? This time it’s a runaway chemical truck, so while Cisco and Wells bicker like these two gentlemen: Barry makes creative use of a tire wrench and stops the chemical truck…
