VENOM Sets Record-Breaking Opening in China, Nears $700 Million Worldwide
Venom is still going strong, and this weekend, it finally opened in China, where it has had a record-breaking opening weekend. The Sony Marvel movie is opening with an estimated $111 million, which is one of the biggest movie debuts in China’s history. It is the second biggest superhero opening, behind Avengers: Infinity War‘s $191 million, while it is Sony’s largest debut in the country. GOTHAM Season 5 Gets a Premiere Date and Expanded Episode Number
Gotham will be returning for a fifth and final season next year. Fox’s DC prequel series will finalize the evolution of Batman and his iconic villains, ending with the present-day versions of the characters we all know and love.
