New DARK PHOENIX Trailer Teases The End of The X-Men
20th Century Fox has finally dropped the second trailer for Dark Phoenix, the latest and final installment of the current X-Men franchise. The film is a new adaptation of the Dark Phoenix Saga from the comics. The movie will focus on Jean Grey(Sophie Turner) as she struggles with the Phoenix inside of her, leading to a conflict within the X-Men team. AQUAMAN 2 Release Date: December 2022
We recently got news the screenwriter for Aquaman is returning for a sequel. There was no official green-lighting of the sequel, so no release-date had been set at the time. But fear not, the Aquaman 2 release date is set. Courtesy of Deadline, Aquaman 2 will be released December 16, 2022. Currently, none of the original’s cast is set to return, and neither is James Wan. Pika Pika! New DETECTIVE PIKACHU Trailer Released
Warner Bros. has dropped a new theatrical trailer for Legendary‘s live action Pokemon movie, Detective Pikachu. The film stars Ryan Reynolds as the voice of the titular character. In the movie, Pikachu teams up with former Pokemon trainer Tim Goodman (Justice Smith) to help him find his father, and to discover a greater threat. The trailer is full of new footage, giving us a look at the various Pokemon, including the introduction of a major fan-favorite. Check it out below, and stay tuned for more as we have it. BLACK PANTHER Wins Three Oscars, SPIDER-VERSE Wins Best Animated Feature
Marvel was well represented at last night’s 2019 Academy Awards. Black Panther was nominated for several Oscars, including Best Picture. Meanwhile, Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse was up for Best Animated Feature. Finally, Avengers: Infinity War was nominated for Best Visual Effects. So, how did these movies fare? Out of seven categories, Black Panther won in three: Best Costume Design, Best Production Design, and Best Original Score. Kevin Feige Debunks BLACK WIDOW R-Rating Rumor
Black Widow will not be rated “R”. Marvel producer, Kevin Feige In an interview with Comicbook.com, Kevin Feige was asked about the Black Widow film being R-rated. He replied: “It was never going to be. Somebody writes, ‘I hear it’s (Black Widow) R-rated! and then everybody writes it up.” Now, fans can officially expect Black Widow to be consistent with her appearances in past MCU films. Avoiding excessive harsh language, bloody action scenes, and such content that would restrict who could watch it. Casting: WONDER WOMAN: BLOODLINES – Rosario Dawson, Michael Dorn, and More!
We’ve got casting news for y’all! There are loads of animated movies coming from DC this year, with Reign of the Supermen already out and Batman: Hush, Wonder Woman: Bloodlines, and Justice League vs. The Fatal Five to come. Revenge of The Fans has picked up the cast list for the first animated solo Wonder Woman movie since 2009. Rosario Dawson (Death of Superman, Reign of The Superman, Daredevil) is returning, presumably voicing Wonder Woman again. She’s really taken the role in stride, and especially her coming to Wonder Woman: Bloodlines. She’s been voicing Wonder Woman in DC’s Animated Universe since Throne of Atlantis in 2015.
