It has been rumored that Fox has been moving forward with a pilot for Lucifer for a few weeks now. Last night, it was reported that actor Jay Hernandez is in talks for a role in the Suicide Squad movie. All that is known about his character is that he may be one of The Joker’s cellmates. And now, we have a new rumor that may reveal who Hernandez is playing, as well as what other DC supervillains we can expect to see. Arrow star David Ramsey recently said in an interview that the show’s creative team has considered the possibility of John Diggle eventually becoming John Stewart, aka one of the most popular Green Lanterns. This was a popular fan theory suggesting a way for Diggle to be further connected to the mainstream DC Universe. However, writer Marc Guggenheim has now debunked this theory, but he offers an interesting tidbit regarding Stewart. Speaking with MTV, Guggenheim confirmed that Diggle will not become Green Lantern on Arrow. Tom Hardy was originally set to play Rick Flagg in Warner Bros.’ Suicide Squad film, but he dropped out last month due to scheduling and script issues. With production beginning in April, the movie has been moving fast to find a new actor for the role. Jake Gyllenhaal was offered the part, but he turned it down. As Warner Brothers fires up the hype machine for their upcoming film, Focus reporters have taken the opportunity to ask the film’s stars Margot Robbie and Will Smith about David Ayer’s Suicide Squad.  The film begins filming shortly and Flicks in the City asked the actors about the Director’s style and their characters.
