Last month, it was reported that Breaking Bad‘s Michelle MacLaren had closed a deal to direct Wonder Woman for Warner Bros. The movie is also closing in on a writer, as Pan‘s Jason Fuchs is in talks to work on the script with MacLaren. The film will star Gal Gadot, who makes her debut as Diana Prince in 2016’s Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. CONSTANTINE Will Return With New Time Slot
The producers of Constantine took to twitter last night to update fans on the show’s return from the mid-season break. They presented it as a good news/bad news situation. The “bad news” is that the show will return on January 16th, 2015, while the “good news” is that they will move into the 8 o’clock Eastern (7 Central) time slot. There is no doubt that Constantine has had a tougher row to hoe than some of his DC-television counterparts. Viola Davis Reportedly Cast As Amanda Waller In SUICIDE SQUAD
Warner Bros. recently announced its all-star cast for the DC Comics adaptation Suicide Squad. The supervillain team film will star Will Smith as Deadshot, Tom Hardy as Rick Flagg, Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn, Jai Courtney as Captain Boomerang, Cara Delevingne as Enchantress, and Jared Leto as The Joker. However, the key role of Amanda Waller has yet to be announced. With Justice League: Throne of Atlantis set to hit stores next month, we now have details on its world premiere. Warner Bros. Home Entertainment has announced that DC Entertainment’s next animated movie will premiere at the Paley Center for Media in New York on January 26th, which is one day before its Blu-Ray/DVD release.
