5 More Marvel Legacy Characters We Want to See in the MCU

    February 7, 2021 / 0 Comments

[Warning: The Following Contains Spoilers From WandaVision, As Well As Rumors Regarding the Third Spider-Man Movie’s Plot.] Before and during the early days of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, other studios created their own films based on Marvel characters. Retroactively referred to as “Marvel Legacy” movies, they range from the wildly successful Spider-Man and X-Men franchises to standalone movies starring the likes of Daredevil, Hulk and the Fantastic Four. They all exist in their own continuity, which is almost unheard of in the modern age of superhero films. But now, with the MCU getting ready to explore the Multiverse, these worlds are starting to blur. Following J.K. Simmons’ reprisal of J.…

LEGION to End After Season 3; Professor X Will Appear

    February 5, 2019 / 1 Comment

So far, FX‘s Legion has run for two seasons, with a third on the way. Unfortunately for fans, all good things must come to an end, as the network had an announcement to make. Legion‘s third season will be its last, FX confirmed at the Television Critics Association (TCA) tour. The reasoning is that creator Noah Hawley always envisioned a three-season run, and he is still committed to that. The season will premiere sometime in June. In addition, the series will finally introduce David Haller‘s father in season three. Actor Harry Lloyd (Game of Thrones) is set to play Professor X, aka Charles Xavier. Fans have speculated about Patrick Stewart…

    October 2, 2018 / 0 Comments

Next year, 20th Century Fox will release two installments in the X-Men universe: Dark Phoenix and The New Mutants. The two movies have been delayed multiple times in order to undergo reshoots. Most recently, Dark Phoenix was pushed back from February 14th to June 7th….two days after the first trailer came out. Now, that movie’s director has explained the delay, and he also has an update on the next film. Opinion: 5 Comic Book Characters That Tom Hanks Can Play

    October 1, 2018 / 0 Comments

Back in 2013, Tom Hanks said in an interview that he wants to get a role in a comic book movie. Five years later, and that has yet to happen. Because of this, I need to ask something. Why, and how? It’s not like Hanks is an unknown D-list actor coming out of nowhere. Because of this, an editorial has to be made to get the word out. Tom Hanks needs to be in a comic book movie. So, we have five ideas. 5. Batman/Thomas WayneWhen I first heard Hanks say that he wanted to play Batman, I first laughed a little considering it felt no way that would work,…

Fox Delays DARK PHOENIX Again, Sets DEADPOOL 2 PG-13 Cut for This Christmas

    September 28, 2018 / 1 Comment

Despite releasing the long-awaited teaser trailer (touting its Valentines Day 2019 date) less than two days ago, 20th Century Fox has once again delayed the next X-Men movie, Dark Phoenix. The film will now hit theaters on June 7th, 2019. This puts it right in the heart of the summer, which – based on the competition – may not be the wisest bet. But, Fox is hoping that the move will lead to the film being a bigger hit in China. No exact reason was given for the delay beyond that, but the movie has been undergoing reshoots, which are said to be extensive. So, this gives them extra time…
