The CW Unveils 2016-2017 Schedule, Now with Five DC/Vertigo Shows
Today is The CW’s turn to present at Upfronts 2016, and the network has now unveiled its schedule for the 2016-2017 television year. This fall will see a record four DC shows running four days in a row. Additionally, one show has been moved to midseason. Supergirl, which will get its second season on The CW after debuting on CBS, will retain its Mondays at 8 PM EST timeslot. Fox has unveiled its 2016-2017 slate, as well as its fall schedule. DC Entertainment’s Gotham and Lucifer have already been renewed for seasons three and two, respectively. So, where do they fit in to the network’s schedule this season? Gotham will keep its Mondays at 8 PM EST slot. And after premiering this midseason, Lucifer will return to its Mondays at 9 PM EST slot in the fall. So, that’s two hours back-to-back of DC/Vertigo television.
