The CW’s latest DC pilot, iZombie, has added another player to its cast. It has been announced that 666 Park Avenue and One Tree Hill actor Robert Buckley has landed a part in the Vertigo adaptation. He will play Major, who is described as “a seemingly perfect former college football player-turned-environmental engineer. Major was recently engaged to a woman named Liv, with whom he’s trying to remain friends despite still being in love with her.” Liv is said to be the protagonist of the pilot/potential series. With production on The Flash pilot underway, we have another casting announcement. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Fringe and 300 actor Patrick Sabongui has landed the role of David Singh in the planned Arrow spin-off. Singh is the police captain of Central City PD. Before Jesse Eisenberg was cast as Lex Luthor in 2016’s Batman vs. Superman, Bryan Cranston was heavily rumored to land the role. However, it turns out he was never even approached.
