STAR WARS, the Neglected Hyperdrive of Electronic Arts
No matter the platform you prefer to play your games on, I think most of us can agree that Electronic Arts is a bad joke that keeps on rolling with their bad business practices. The joke gets even worse when Star Wars enters the mix. Let me give you a quick rundown. Star Wars hype was through the roof in 2015. The Force Awakens was about to release, as well as Star Wars Battlefront from DICE Studios. But then December came, and the return of Star Wars kicked off with mixed results The Force Awakens ended up with positive reactions from critics and fans alike. Electronic Arts’ first attempt at a Battlefront…

AQUAMAN is Now the Biggest DC Movie in the World
Aquaman continues its reign at the box office, as it passes one more key milestone in the history of Warner Bros. and DC Entertainment. James Wan‘s underseas adventure has hit $1.09 billion worldwide. This puts it past The Dark Knight Rises ($1.085 billion) as the highest grossing DC movie ever. Yes, Aquaman is officially a bigger moneymaker than Batman. Who ever saw that coming? Aquaman has currently made $316.6 million in North America and $774.2 million overseas. While it probably won’t pass Wonder Woman ($412.5 million) domestically, it’s only a few million away from surpassing Suicide Squad ($325.1 million) and Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice ($330.4 million). These numbers…

TAKING A STAND: Why We Will Not Be Covering Bryan Singer’s RED SONJA (Or His Future Endeavors)
It’s not everyday that we, the staff of WOBAM! Entertainment, face a moral quandary. These are serious accusations that the media has largely ignored; past allegations and a 2017 lawsuit against Singer were swept under the rug, and we were fast made to forget about them. Then the Me Too movement happened, and those allegations slowly resurfaced. Now this week, an expose by The Atlantic tells a darker picture of his escapades. As a comic…

FLASH SPOILER Review: Episode 5×11- “Seeing Red”
The Flash (5×11)- “Seeing Red” Written by: Judalina Neira & Thomas Pound Directed by: Marcus Stokes From “The Flash and the Furious” to “Seeing Red.” Interesting progression. We open on Cicada and the anti-meta-human movement seems to be gaining steam. Someone in the CCPD leaked names and addresses of metas to his doctor friend and this lets him knock off a lot of metas in quick succession which brings Team Flash running and that’s where things go haywire when Cicada breaks Nora’s back. This episode kind of reminds people that while Barry is so packed full of Hope he could easily replace Adara as the embodiment of Hope in the…
