DC Adds Superman Prequel Series METROPOLIS to Streaming Service
DC Entertainment is prepping to launch its own streaming service, which will include original content. Titans and Young Justice: Outsiders are premiering sometime this year, while an animated Harley Quinn series is also in the works. Now, a fourth show has entered development. Warner Bros. has announced that a new 13-episode series titled Metropolis is coming to DC’s streaming service. The show, which takes place before Superman’s arrival, focuses on Lois Lane and Lex Luthor in a fringe science investigation-type story. Gotham producers John Stephens and Danny Cannon are overseeing the show, which will premiere next year. More details on the series can be found in the press release below.…

In the trailer, we get a better look at the world of Wakanda, where T’Challa (Chadwick Boseman) is the newly-crowned king. However, Erik Killmonger (great last name, Michael B. AGENTS OF SHIELD Season 5 Has A Premiere Date
Rejoice, Agents of SHIELD fans! ABC has announced that the show will return to the air on December 1st at 8 PM EST for a special two-hour premiere. Starting December 8th, the show will move to its new regular time of Fridays at 9 PM EST. In a press release, Channing Dungey, president of ABC Entertainment said, “We’re so proud of the way that ‘Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD’ has grown creatively every season. DC fans have been hungry for live-action Titans news, and That Hashtag Show continues to deliver. In an exclusive from That Hashtag Show, they revealed a casting call snippet showing that the new show’s Big Bad™ will be Acolyte. The Acolyte – Male. African-American 40-50. Confident. The villain of our story. He is after Rachel and her powers, trying to kidnap her after he murders her mother.
