Anime Review: BOBOBO-BO BO-BOBO
When the evil empire is forcing everyone to go bald, it’s up to a man with enormous nose hair and afro of gold called Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo (yes that’s his actual name) to save people’s free hair. I’m wondering what the Mangaka (the word you use for manga creator) was thinking when he created the manga that this anime is based on. It has a great message behind insanity going haywire. Some of you that might have seen this hair-raiser may be confused over that sentence. I’m not talking about the insanity part. I might have gone a bit too low with that hairline. I have stretched the string more than…

Recap: ARROW S7 E5 – The Demon
After the revelations from the last episode, we dive deeper into the workings of Level Two. Oliver sees just how twisted Dr. Parker’s practice is, plus we also meet an old friend. We learn that The Demon is none other than Talia Al Ghul, daughter of the demon. Pretty easy call but cool none the less. Especially considering she was left for dead at the end of season 5. The two have to set aside their differences and work together and escape. This is a simple episode but it’s tons of fun. We have three stories going. Ollie and Talia breaking out of Level Two, Curtis regaining his fighting spirit,…

Recap: ARROW S7 E4 – Level Two
After the events of the last episode, Ollie and moved on to stage two of the supermax prison. Level Two is where they keep the most dangerous criminals. Ollie went there with the hopes of finding The Demon. Things did not go as planned. Ollie meets this man named Dr. Jarret Parker, he seems to try and break down his patient’s psyche. He’s confronting Oliver, telling us that all of his issues start with his father, Robert Queen. We see flashbacks of season one where he tells Oliver to write his wrongs and gives him a list. Right before killing the man next to him and killing himself. This is…

Recap: ARROW S7 E3 – Crossing Lines
So we’re back with another Arrow review! Sorry for the delay but life got in the way. We’ll be using this holiday break to catch up. All reviews are going up as soon as I finished the episode. So I’m not caught up with current events (so episodes 4-6). It keeps things fun. I don’t want to review an episode and already know where the plot is going. So let’s talk about Crossing Lines. With Oliver in prison, Felicity has taken the fight against Diaz into her own hands. She wants to join forces with Agent Watson, the very person who ended Team Arrow last season. This time Diaz and…

Review: POKKEN TOURNAMENT DX
Let’s finish off this Pokemon Week with yet another spin-off title. This time, it’s Pokken Tournament. Pokken was first released back in 2015 for Wii U, with an “expansion pack” of the game going by the name of Pokken Tournament DX releasing in September last year. It’s the Expansion pack for Nintendo Switch that I’m reviewing today. The game is a 3D fighter in the style of Namco Bandai’s usual style for their fighting games. Have you played games like Naruto Shippuden Ninja Storm, Soul Calibur or Tekken, I can’t see you have a problem to get into this game. The game works smoothly and is easy to understand. For…

REVIEW: Pokemon XD Gale of Darkness
Pokemon XD Gale Darkness is a sequel to Pokemon Colosseum. It takes place in the same region, but a couple of years after the events that happened in the previous game. While you don’t play as the same character as before, the objective is still the same, and the use of only double battles is here as well. How does it compare compared to Colosseum? It has its advantage towards it, but also disadvantages. Unlike Colusseum, Gale of Darkness allows you to save wherever you are, compared to Coliseum who hade the idiotic inclusion of save stations. Something that Gale of Darkness also has improvements on is about purification (which is the part of…

Review: POKEMON COLOSSEUM
In Colosseum, you follow the protagonist of Wes, a mysterious young man that becomes the keystone to stop an evil organization that does evil experience with Pokemon. With me reviewing Pokemon Yellow and Pokemon Crystal, some of you probably thought that Emerald was next. You were close to being right since I was a finger snap from doing so. However, looking through the pile of Pokemon games, I realized that I owned some that deserves more recognition. One of them is Pokemon Colosseum. Besides being the first 3D Adventure game for Pokemon (as well as the first home console RPG), Colosseum is breaking the mold when it comes to a…

Review: POKEMON CRYSTAL
Pokemon Crystal is the second generations’ answer to Pokemon Yellow (although Yellow was closer to the anime than what Crystal was). Just like before, you play as an avatar who gets access to a Pokemon, so that you can take on the gym leader challenge while stopping an evil organization along the way. Outside of introducing more Pokemon and two new types (steel and dark), the second generation added new mechanics. Day and Night Cycles A mechanic that is what you think it is. The game has its own day/night interaction with it being day and night in the game depending on what time you chose at the start. The…

REVIEW: POKEMON YELLOW
This review is part of our 7 Days of Pokemon Games. Click here for more WOBAM awesome. On February 27, 1996, a new franchise was about to take the world by storm. Nobody knew what to think of it. Would it fly away as quickly as it appeared, or make a mark like an alien with a cornfield? Here we are now, twenty-two years later and the franchise is still going strong. If Red and Blue were the first, why am I reviewing Yellow and not either Red or Blue? It boils down to a few things. The first is, Yellow is the only game that I own of the “original three”…
