Kraven The Hunter Spin-Off In The Works At Sony From Richard Wenk
Sony is continuing to expand it’s plan to make a Spider-Man Cinematic Universe, that may or may not be within the MCU, with a new film featuring the popular villain Kraven The Hunter. Collider reports that Sony has hired Richard Wenk, the screenwriter behind both Equalizer films as well as the 2016 remake of The Magnificent Seven, Jack Reacher: Never Go Back, and The Expendables 2, to pen the script for a solo film starring the fan-favorite foe. VENOM Director Talks Sequel Plans and Lack of White Spider Symbol; New Trailer Coming Soon
Sony showcased its Venom movie at San Diego Comic-Con last week, and since then, we’ve gotten a bunch of news tidbits surrounding the film. Here, we compile a few of them. Speaking with Comic Book, director Ruben Fleischer confirms that the movie does open the door for sequels down the line. Emma Thompson To Reprise Her MEN IN BLACK 3 Role in Sony’s Spin-Off
It’s been revealed that Emma Thompson will be reprising her role as Agent O from Men In Black 3 for next summer’s Men In Black spin-off at Sony. According to The Hollywood Reporter, she will be joining an A-list cast that includes; Chris Hemsworth, Tessa Thompson, Liam Neeson, Kumail Nanjiani, Rafe Spall, and World of Dance’s Les Twins. As part of Entertainment Weekly‘s San Diego Comic-Con coverage, the magazine is exploring the world of Sony’s new Marvel-inspired movie Venom. And with that, we have some new details and imagery. In an interview with EW, star Tom Hardy talks about shifting from supervillain to superhero (well, somewhat) for this latest role.
